A letter from the Headteacher
Welcome to our website, I hope that you will enjoy browsing the site and
that you find all the information that you are looking for.
At Ysgol Deiniol, we value all our children as individuals. Developing the
whole child is important to us and that aim is reflected in all we do. We have
lots to be proud of and want everyone to share this with us. We are proud of
our pupils and, indeed, the staff that work here too. They are an extremely
dedicated and supportive staff who work very hard to provide the best
opportunities for all our pupils in a safe and happy school environment.
We have high expectations of everyone in our school community and we believe
that everyone has the ability to excel and achieve great things.
are proud of our achievements and in the diversity of activities we provide for
the children. The activities and learning that we provide for children are
rich, varied and stimulating. We have a wide range of extra - curricular
activities, including our Time Out before and after school club as well as
Nursery Plus which is part of our wrap-around care here at Ysgol Deiniol and
runs after Nursery has ended at midday right up until home time.
It is our aim, in partnership with parents, to help our children enjoy their
time at Primary School, be happy, feel secure and achieve the very best they
can. We promote high academic standards whilst valuing creativity and
imagination. We encourage the children to be self-motivated learners and
develop personally and socially.
We welcome parents and friends of the school to work alongside the children
and to celebrate and share their success and achievements. Our school vision
and Mission statement: SMILE, the school will Support, Motivate
and Inspire ALL pupils to Learn and Excel. This
statement greets visitors to the school and is one that everybody in the whole
school community subscribes to.
Thanks for visiting our website.
Mr. Kevin Baugh
